This is fine as an intro to MongoDB, but what I need to know is why would I use MongoDB over (say) MySQL – what scenarios is it good for? Are there any issues I need to be aware of, like multiple write access locks, scaling, migrations, importing data from existing DBs, etc.
Nice post, I am looking into mongodb/ruby stack, like what I see so far. Nice screencast, keep up the good work, we need nice guys like you to keep the community active!
